There is Always HOPE!

We have been having some wild weather out here in the Pacific Northwest! Wind, Rain, Wind, rain, wind, rain and repeat, repeat! Trees down, rivers rising, electrical outages, you name it. And then you look out the window and see the sun shining in the valley. Just thru one small hole in the clouds (you can still see the angry, gray/black clouds in the background). And there it is, but not just one, TWO rainbows! Reminding us of God's promise and reminding us that no matter how bad things may be there is always hope. This was on a paticularly wild day, hail, rain, wind and it poured! Thank you, Lord!

Keizer's 8th Birthday!

Hey, it is tough trying to get pics of the kids sometimes! Mom did a great job!!!!

Great Grandpa with Kayden. :)

Everybody loves their Uncle Mark. He did a great job of directing the games!

She thought she was something for beating out her cousin Isaac in Thumb Wars! :)

Grandpa and Gramma Didrickson with Sterling.

Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Shamp. It is such a blessing to have them be able to attend. :)

My ever like his father grandson, Isaac.

This is just a few of my beautiful granddaughters .

What a joy it was to spend Sunday with my family celebrating Keizer's 8th birthday. What a blessing these kids are! Oh believe me they are not perfect! But I am so blessed. It is a joy to watch them grow in the Lord. I was also reminded of how nice it was to get to go to the restroom to get a moments peace and quiet! LOL! Mark and Shelley did a great job putting on the birthday party. Shelley puts careful thought into everything from the games to the cake to the prizes. Mark works well with the kids and manages the execution of the games. The cake was a delicious Costco chocolate cake with the star wars decorations added by Shelley. Praying that my grandson will follow the footsteps of the Lord all the days of his life and be richly rewarded for it. Love you, Keizer. You are such a kind, thoughtful, intelligent, caring, wild! grandson! :)

Sharing again!

I just love showing off my daughter's creations on Etsy. She is gearing up for the Christmas season and has posted some darling clippies. She does do custom color requests. I hope you will check out her Etsy shop and make some purchases if you are so inclined. Her workmanship is top quality and her prices are VERY reasonable. 4SistersCreations on Etsy.

Cute Gift Wrap idea

THis is a cute gift wrap idea from Bugs and Fishes by Lupin. Check it out!

Camp Grammie day 1

First project is working on a collage. This was a relatively simple project to keep a 3, 6 and 8 year old busy at the same time. The next project was a little bit more of a challenge. lol. But they are having fun and grammie is enjoying them being here. But I will admit! I raised 5 plus children (yeah, I had extras, neices and nephews and others that lived with us over the years) and I managed but I sure am tired out already and it is barely 3 pm! :)

Grammie Camp has begun!

The Lord has truly blessed me. My oldest son and his family are such a blessing. I could not ask for a kinder, sweeter daughter in law and they love the Lord and strive to put Him first in their lives. Thank you, Lord.
