Finished baby afghan and sweater for Great Granddaughter due in May.

Bookmark and ShareI have made dozens of the baby sweater over the years. The pattern is from an 80s circa Annie’s Attic pattern Club magazine. The name of the pattern is Hug Me Tight  it’s beautiful for a baby girl.  The afghan is a heart filet pattern. It’s the sweetheart blanket pattern from Kerry Jayne Designs. I used Bee Sweet yarn from Hobby lobby for both projects. The blanket called for a 4.00 mm hook.  Next time I will try a 4.5 mm hook. I’m currently making another afghan with same yarn but the larger hook. I’m liking how it is progressing better. I think the hook is making the difference.  These turned out beautiful. Sunday is her shower. I can’t be there but looking forward to pics of my granddaughter with the gifts.

I am a wife, mother of 5, and grammy to 16. I am thankful to call Christ my Savior. I am currently an unemployed office manager. :( Crafting is my love. I love to sew, crochet and scrapbook but do all kinds of crafts. If I see it and like it, I will try it. I enjoy doing quick and easy crafts for gifts. I love to send small goodies in cards to family and friends. I also enjoy riding on our HD Electra Glide. I love to cook and bake. I won't begin to tell you how many cookbooks I have collected. LOL. I love to play cards, pinochle is probably my fave! Love to spend time with my family and friends.
