Made more lotion bars today. Love these. The top side has rose buds that not just makes them decorative but also acts as an exfoliate. These make great gifts and I have been asked to make some so friends can purchase them for gifts.

Social distancing
I’m not really a fan of this social distancing. I have a lot of questions about it. But not gonna go there. We did however take a ride a couple weeks ago and visit a couple of our kids and grandkids. This is what social distancing looks like.
May Day!
I remember fondly, when I was a child, May Day. I used to make baskets and fill them with little flowers and deliver them to my neighbors porches, ring the doorbell and then run away. Today with all that’s going on in the world,( with today being May 1 not this June date, ) I made a little basket, filled it with some of my tree peonies and sent my husband over to my neighbors to knock on the door and leave it on the door knob. However, he and our doggy were caught. But that’s OK, it was fun and our neighbor loved the flowers
April birthdays
These two grandchildren share the same birthdays two years apart Of course the COVID-19 pandemic kept us from being there with them on their birthday. So we sent them a box with a couple of goodies for their birthdays in it. They enjoyed opening up the box with a lot of confetti. And Vienna told me she saved it so we just may be getting payback you knows! I love all my grandkids and I miss them when I can’t be there.
I’m very thankful their mother, my lovely daughter in love, shared these pictures with me so that I could be a little part of the celebration. CelebrationIndescribably Deliciously Banana Bread
This is our favorite banana bread recipes. Ain’t your mamas banana bread! It’s also the first time I’ve made it using parchment paper in my love pan. That worked like a charm. It makes two loaves so I wrapped my love and put it in the freezer. I divided the second loaf in half. gave half to the neighbor and Doug and I enjoyed the rest of it.
Happy first birthday!
These are challenging days with the COVID-19 pandemic pandemic and the quarantine that we are in. But at least we were able to celebrate our youngest granddaughter‘s first birthday with a zoom birthday party. It was fun to watch her delicately eat her cake. Thankful that we at least have these electronic ways that we can stay connected
