These are so cute and would make a nice stocking stuffer, gift, card enclosure, gift for a teacher. You could use 3 D already made stickers or stamp, what ever makes it fun and easy for you! I love Dawn's tutorials. Great ideas!

Small Christmas Bag Ornament Tuturial

This is cute and would be a great way to hang treats for the kids or visitors that come at Christmas time. Also could hold a monetary gift also. This would also be nice as a tag on a Christmas gift.

Toilet Paper Pumpkin Tutorial

Gather materials:
one roll toilet paper,
one plastic bag,
on paper bag (lunch size or can cut down a large bag),
autumn florals and plant pics,
one piece of autumn colored fabric (yellow, orange, etc) cut 18" x 18" square.

The pattern on the fabric should be a very small print or solid. Experiment with different patterns, you will be amazed at how cute they can be!



Open fabric, wrong side up. Place toilet paper roll in the middle. Wrap the plastic bag around the roll. You do not have to connect it, just wrap around. Take the corners and bring up and tuck into the center of the roll. Do all 4 corners.



Take the paper bag and fold accordian style about 1 to 2 inches widthwise. Place this in the center of the roll leaving about 2 to 3 inches out of the center. This makes the stem. Take your floral pieces, it doesn't take much. Cut with wire cutters to desired length and poke around the "stem" decoratively.



And that is all there is to it. It is truly that easy! I think you could make a larger skinnier pumpkin by using a roll of paper towels. I haven't done that yet, but I would think I would increase the fabric square to 30" and go from there. This makes a nice hostess gift and are darling in clumps of 3 or more around the house for an inexpensive decoration!

I am so excited about this one. This is a water bottle with an individual "On The Go" drink mix attached. In September, I am planning a special day learning a craft with my daughters and daughters in laws. When I saw this I knew that I have to make this for that day and give one to each daughter at the table. Won't this be great on the table at each place with their packets of directions and goodies? This will really add to the fun of the day!

Doo Rag Tutorial

This sewing pattern has two purposes for me. It is well received from friends that are going thru chemo. A great chemo cap and a lot of our Harley riding friends wear these under their helmets. Fireflies in a jar!

I had to share this. First of all it is cute and fun. Second of all, it brought back some memories of living in Nebraska! lol In the summer, I bet I caught fireflies every night! I would put them in a jar with dirt and some grass and punced holes in the lid. The jar would then be placed on my second story window sill to watch as I drifted off to sleep. Mom would come in after I fell asleep and let them go so they wouldn't die. We don't have fireflies in Washington state. And secretly, I do miss that! Gift bows from magazine pages!

Remember back in the late 60s and early 70s the ribbon that you could wet (lick) and make all kinds of bows out of? My brother had a girlfriend that taught me how to do all kinds of fun bows and I had fun spending hours making bows for my gifts at Christmas time. They don't make that ribbon anymore! lol But I was surfing last night for bows, trying to find something different and look what I found. These beautiful bows are made from magazine pages.
