More Jammies

Monkey see Monkey do. These are for my 5 year old grandson's birthday. I didn't have burgundy for the bottoms so I went with tan. :)



These are for my soon to be 10 year old grandson (yes, another 10 year old! lol) He love the Huskies, so these are perfect for him.



My dancing granddaughter will be getting this nightgown with a pair of boot slippers to match. I am still waiting on the size from mom before making them. :)

I am also getting ready to have 3 of my grandchildren this weekend so I am planning "Granny Camp." :)

Belinda's Angels

When I went to the Post Office Box this morning, I wondered what a pop bottle was doing in my box when I opened it! As I pulled it out I realized it was the angels that Belinda, my friends from Craftsayings Message board had promised me! What a creative way to mail them! And how beautiful are these angels!!!! Several weeks ago, I offered a RAK (random act of kindness) of punch ribbon that I had purchased about 4 years ago to make these angels. Well, obviously I did not get around to it (I guess I need a "round tuit!" ) and will all the fabric I have accumulated, I felt that it was probably not going to be a high priority project so I offered them up to a crafty friend on the board. Belinda was the first to respond. I sent them off to her with a promise that she would send me a couple when she made them. Thank you sooooo much, Belinda. I absolutely adore them and you did such a wonderful job! There are so many talented crafters on that board and it is a wonderful place to visit.

Matthew's Taggie Blankie

I love this taggie blankie! The 'soft n cuddly' is from a garage sale. I love it but it is difficult to work with. The other side is flannel. One ribbon on each side has basketballs on it. Ben, Matthew's daddy, is a basketball player so had to add those. I think the colors are nice and bright for my newest grandson. :)

The first of the Birthday jammies rolled out.

Oh, these jammies are so soft and cozy! If I could wear it, I just might keep it! lol. I decided on the gown style for Andrea's 13th birthday on the 7th of October. I am still going to make purple fleece bottoms to go with. Although I doubt she will want to sleep in them, they just might be warmer for knocking around the house It worked out perfect with the Hannah Montana right in the middle of the front!

More Sewing Creations

Here is the second tote bag to go with the first. This one has a large pocket on one side.






Next are 2 more purse organizes that I have made as gifts and lastly I made 2 totes like this brown one out of some quilted material that I picked up at a garage sale for 50 cents!!!! And the webbing? I got the whole roll of it for a $1! What a find! The purse organizer is made from garage sale material also. LOVE IT!!!

And next is a long over due birthday gift for a friend. It is a tote bag that was so easy to make. And actually I have enough of the material left over that I am thinking of making her another one just a smidge shorter to go with and maybe put a pocket on that one. The fabric is beautiful. Upholstery weight with small pink and blue thru out, an embroidered look. UPDATE: I did make a second one, about 5 inches shorter and put a pocket on one side. :) I think that makes it a nicer gift - as a set of tote/market bags.

Water bottle made for grandsons

My granddaughter, Brittanee was a good sport to model the camouflage bottle slings that I am making for my grandsons. The instructions are here at family fun. These are very simple made with 1 to 1 1/4" webbing and 1 1/8 " orings!
