My Granddaughter's 13th Birthday
Can't believe that my number 3 granddaughter has turned 13! Delanie is growing into such a beautiful granddaughter and is such a blessing! I made Delanie fleece jammies for her birthday also. the butterfly fleece is the top and polka dots are the bottoms. They turned out fabulous and D really enjoyed them! It was a great day celebrated with family! D decorated her own pumpkin cakes with her dad's help. Mom served make your own "sub" sandwiches and they were great!!! Best of all is that we were able to get over and back without the forecasted snow delaying us in anyway! PTL! Last year we missed the party because of snow and I just didn't want that this year!

Birthday Girl Jammies
Last pair of jammies for this year (starts up again right away in January!) My granddaughter is having her golden birthday tomorrow. 13 on the 13th. She loves purple and lime green. Not much available in that combo but when I saw these two fleece fabrics, I knew it was her. So off tomorrow to another birthday! Fun!

There is Always HOPE!
We have been having some wild weather out here in the Pacific Northwest! Wind, Rain, Wind, rain, wind, rain and repeat, repeat! Trees down, rivers rising, electrical outages, you name it. And then you look out the window and see the sun shining in the valley. Just thru one small hole in the clouds (you can still see the angry, gray/black clouds in the background). And there it is, but not just one, TWO rainbows! Reminding us of God's promise and reminding us that no matter how bad things may be there is always hope. This was on a paticularly wild day, hail, rain, wind and it poured! Thank you, Lord!

Keizer's 8th Birthday!
Hey, it is tough trying to get pics of the kids sometimes! Mom did a great job!!!!
What a joy it was to spend Sunday with my family celebrating Keizer's 8th birthday. What a blessing these kids are! Oh believe me they are not perfect! But I am so blessed. It is a joy to watch them grow in the Lord. I was also reminded of how nice it was to get to go to the restroom to get a moments peace and quiet! LOL! Mark and Shelley did a great job putting on the birthday party. Shelley puts careful thought into everything from the games to the cake to the prizes. Mark works well with the kids and manages the execution of the games. The cake was a delicious Costco chocolate cake with the star wars decorations added by Shelley. Praying that my grandson will follow the footsteps of the Lord all the days of his life and be richly rewarded for it. Love you, Keizer. You are such a kind, thoughtful, intelligent, caring, wild! grandson! :)
