Simple Woman's Daybook April 25, 2011

~FOR TODAY~

Outside My Window...
Cloudy and foggy skies, the rain gently falling.... the joys of yesterday a memory......

I am thinking...
I really need to organize my time lately!!!!

I am thankful for...
For Christ's death and resurrection and gift of life .... and His gift of family!

From the kitchen...
Planning my menus...

I am wearing...
purple slacks and floral top and my Birkenstock clogs

I am creating...
birthday gifts for the May birthdays!

I am going...
to call Teri soon....

I am reading...
The Lincoln Lawyer

On my mind...
The right and appropriate placing for my daughter....

Around the house...
Needing to clean out the dining room!

One of my favorite things...
My golden curled at my feet....

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:
Lunch with the girls.... sewing........managing pain...............

Sharing some of my joy.... Two of my toothless wonders! :)

Visit from oldest son and family.

Mark just got a look at the bill!!!!!

Just a fun and goofy time

Well, there are just times when families can be funny and goofy together.  My son and his family came to visit and we went out to Claim Jumper's for dinner.  We shared these wonderful desserts.  I guess that Mark really liked it!  or maybe he thought for a few moments he was our dog, Spot!  lol

Granddaughter's Sweet 16th Birthday!

Well, it wasn't Kayden's birthday but she is ever the STAR!!!!

Aunt Shelley helped with a special time where we shared memories of Brittanee and encouraged her as she grows into the beautiful lady she is becoming.

Andrea did a power point with pictures of Brittanee and Papa Doug cued up the music to go along with! :)

Dress up time!  She looked like a princess in her pink cape, pink crown, er, cowgirl hat and other adornments!

I think Britt was impressed and pleased to hear the memories we have of her and how much we love her and desire for her to grow in the Lord.

Impromptu Paper Doll "puppet" show

Bergen's Seventh Birthday

My daughter in law, Shelley is always so creative with her children's birthday parties.  Bergen turned 7 in January.  We all were invited to a very special Paper Doll Breakfast birthday party!  A lot of fun!  My babies are growing way to fast!
