Simple Woman's Daybook - July 6, 2009
For Today... Monday, July 6, 2009
Outside my window... it is overcast and about 65 degees.
I am thinking... about the blessings that God has given me in the form of my beautiful family!
I am thankful for... travelling mercies
From the kitchen... absolutely nothing. Doug is on a bike trip and I am not cooking for myself.... salads and whatever is going to be my diet this week! lol
I am wearing... my pink paisley top and slacks
I am reading... nothing right now.
I am creating... water bottle slings and doodle bags
I am hearing... the fan running in the family room
I am going... only back to the vet to pick up Spot after he is finished getting his grooming!
Around the house... I don't want to look! Too many piles right now!
One of my favorite things... dragon flies
A Few Plans for the Rest of the Week... lunch with Teri, sewing, sewing and more sewing! And did I tell you I am going to sew?

Glam Hair Accessories
One of the fun traditions and will be a special memory for the kids (and moms) is that Auntie Tracy makes special barrettes and headbands for her daughters and nieces to wear at our family functions. They are always so festive and gorgeous and FUN. Moms and daughters both enjoy the holiday appropriate adorning! I am always impressed with her creations! Just LOVE them. The girls, both big and small love looking glamorous and special! Believe me, these fit the bill!!!! So I am showing them off here! Tracy has an etsy shop and will custom makes these and other accessories to your color choices. I hope you will check her out at her etsy shop; 4 Sisters Creations. I am really proud of her work and creativity. And as grandma, it makes me happy that she does this for each of the granddaughters to make them feel special and pretty!
