Menu Plan Monday!

I love to plan my menu. The beauty of menu planning is that you can change things and still feel confident and organized. Today when we went to the store, Doug was with me. He asked me if Tacos was on the menu this week. I thought about 45 seconds as I thought about weather and plans and said, it wasn't but it is now! So even in my mind, it was an easy change. The weather is suppose to be nice the first half of the week and then rain and fall the end. Also, now my hours are being cut so with Doug on strike and my hours being cut, I have to think carefully about my meals! There will probably be more soups and stew types as I tighten up an already tight budget!!!

Monday - Tacos
Tuesday - Taco Salad (there will have been some leftovers from last night)
Wednesday- Chicken tender Dinner
Thursday - meat loaf
Friday Speedy Chili Mac
Saturday - Meat Loaf
Sunday - Crockpot Roast (my favorite way to cook is put pot roast in crock. Add one can each - cream of mushroom, cream of chicken and french onion and one can of water - cook all day long!) this makes a yummy gravy. I always use the healthy request soups from Campbells.

I have to try to remember to take pics of my recipes so that I can keep them posted with the recipes.

Want to see what others are planning this week? Be watching the week of Sept. 22 to be family favorites! I have some family favorites this week, tacos, meat loaf (my hubby's favorite) and Chili Mac! Click here to visit I'm an Organizing Junkie to see!

Sounds like a yummy week at your house!

Hope hubby's able to get back to work soon. No fun having to cut back unexpectedly.

I am totally with you on the benefits of planning and especially planning early - it just seems to make the entire week go so much smoother.
